DOUGLASVILLE, GA – At the Douglas County Board of Commissioners meeting on June 6, 2023, Commissioner Ricky Dobbs announced the start of a new monthly initiative, “Community Chat with Commissioner Dobbs.”
Dobbs’ plan is to host these chats on the second Saturday of every month. The objective of these events is to provide an opportunity for Douglas County residents to interact directly with their Commissioner, whether it’s for a casual meet and greet or to discuss local concerns.
The first Community Chat with Commissioner Dobbs is scheduled for this Saturday, June 10th. The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Allure Lounge located at 7090 Concourse Pkwy, Douglasville, GA 30134.
Residents of Douglas County are invited to attend these monthly chats. As per the details provided, this initiative appears to be aimed at increasing the dialogue between the Commissioner’s office and the community.
